I know I’ve been gone for a minute, but I’ve been busy working on some other sites. Well, here is one of the top tracks off of Major Lazer & La Roux’s recent Lazer Proof mixtape, which I haven’t been able to stop listening to lately. It’s a nice reworking of Reggae artist Gyptian’s current hit “Hold Ya” with a little a bit of La Roux in there for good measure. Check it out and enjoy! Oh, also, if you don’t have the mixtape yet then you should definitely download it here. I promise, it will be worth it.

Drake’s video for “Over” has finally been released, and it’s interesting to say the least. There are a lot of different visual effects throughout the video, but overall it’s not half bad. Check it out below.

Chiddy Bang has finally released their follow-up mini-mixtape to The Swelly Express. This one is appropriately called Air Swell, and features 7 new songs from the Philly duo. Once again, they are using those indie samples like no other rappers out there. When are we going to get a debut album, Chiddy?

Here is the debut single “SuperLuva” from Mary J. Blige’s protégé/Matriarch Records singer-songwriter Starshell. This uptempo pop track is sure to be this summer’s dance anthem with its catchy lyrics, and synths reminiscent of an Ace of Base smash hit from the 90’s. The video for the track is also said to be shot within the next couple of weeks. Check out the song below.

Dekk has added his touch to Drake’s much talked about debut single “Over.” His electro-pop addition track put’s a new spin on the song, and gives it a new burst of life. Check it out below!

Chiddy Bang just released the video for their summer ’09 hit “Opposite of Kids.” In the words of Chiddy, it’s ‘pretty much amazing.’ Check it out below:

I must say that Tiësto and Tegan & Sara make a perfect combination. This is the second song they have done together, and it completely works. Tegan & Sara’s voices fit surprisingly well over Tiësto’s synths, and I’m sure this won’t be last time we’ll see a collaboration between the three.  Indie pop duo plus trance veteran for the win. Check out the video below:

The cast of Jersey Shore showed Michael Cera how to be a “guido” in a recent stint shot by MTV. All I can say is….wow, and that hair can be used as a weapon. Check out the video below.

I know I’ve been slacking lately, but I’ve been kind of busy trying to get my career to take off. Anyways, I’m back! Here is a new one from Brooklyn’s very own Jay Alien, who has a mixtape coming out soon with guest appearances from Maino, Dirt Diggler, and Lily. Check out the song below!
